Casting at Yale Rep

Yale Repertory Theatre works under the League of Regional Theatres (LORT) contract with Actors' Equity Association (AEA), the union of professional actors and stage managers. The union determines the number of Equity and non-Equity actors cast in each production.

Yale Rep will hold Local Equity Principal Auditions for the 2019-2020 season on Thursday, May 2, 2019 in New Haven, CT at 149 York Street on the 2nd floor. To schedule an appointment, please call (203) 432-1541 and leave a message. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are encouraged.

Please prepare a 2-3 minute contemporary or classical monologue, your choice; preference for heightened or poetic language. Bring a picture/resume, stapled together. We welcome local Non-Equity actors to audition as the schedule permits.

Tara Rubin Casting will hold EPAs for Yale Rep for New York actors on the same date in NYC on Thursday, May 2, 2019. An Equity monitor will be present.
